Campus Program Trainings

The campus program offers trainings to our campus members and campus consortium members. Campus trainings can occur virtually or in-person, by request or apart of our campus training calendar for the year. In person trainings at a campus are only available by request to campus members. Campus trainings are at minimum one hour and 30 mins in length, however half day workshops can be most beneficial for participants due to the robust amount of information and material - please keep this in mind when requesting trainings or checking availability.

Serving LGBTQ+ Students

Audience: administration, faculty, staff, law enforcement

Addresses best practices for serving LGBTQ+ students on campus, often requested as a more comprehensive “Safe zone” training that encompasses IPV prevention and response.

Title IX and Trauma Informed Responses

Audience: administration, faculty, staff, law enforcement

Discusses the federal requirements of Title IX and how to implement on your campus.

Campus trainings are different than campus programming. Prevention programming created and available to campuses are able to be facilitated onsite either by NCCADV or the host campus using our materials and slides - if interested in programming please check out that page here. Campus trainings are only available for NCCADV to host and facilitate directly however we offer TA support for campuses who desire support in creating/reviewing their own trainings.

Eggplants and Peaches: Understanding Tech Abuse 

Audience: administration, faculty, staff, law enforcement

Participants learn about the latest technology used in abusive relationship, trends in social media, nonconsensual pornography (revenge porn) and considerations for tech used in Title IX investigations.
